Re: Diseased Children...Ugh!!

Every month or so it seems like we get a family to see Mickey in Toontown with a child that has chicken pox or something like that. This of course forces the room to then close and everything to be decontaminated, including the Boss. Its an inconvience to a lot of people at best, and downright sinis...

Re: The Test

39. The line of people next to Pluto, all who have autograph books and cameras are: a)not as important as your child, so they can wait while your child gets a quick autograph. And hey, while he's there, might as well snap a few pictures... b)waiting patiently to see Pluto, like you should be doing. ...

Re: Learn F@#%ing english a#@$ole.:readit:

Don't you think this is kinda getting off the original topic? The SG in the OP DID speak english, but he failed to translate for his kids. Is it really fair to ask 8-10 year-olds to learn english before coming to WDW? Personally, I'm fine with the father in an international family renting the "...

Re: Photopass question

While Zazu is correct that there are a lot of vacancies at WDW, DPI (Disney Photo Imaging, as Photopass is officially called) is actually pretty well staffed at this point (most full-timers are only getting 32-36 hours a week now). We went through a hiring blitz last summer and fall, and we filled u...

Re: I am NOT a photographer!!

That's when you whip out the sketch pad and ask the guests and the character to hold real still for about 20 minutes. I got that at Studios all the time, because we had to cross on stage at least twice to get from our base to cast parking. Of course, I AM wearing the Photopass costume, but they don'...

Re: Unique to animal kingdom

a related thought...daily, from Kilimanjaro Safaris: Wilson: That old bridge has seen better days, and I'm sure our shifty-eyed friends the crocodiles know it SG: Oooh! Look at all the alligators!!! Driver: Roger Wilson, we see those crocodiles and I'm sure they see us. SG: Let me get a picture of t...

Re: Talking durring attractions.

:o: I did that once. Well, not the WHOLE spiel, I didn't know the stretching room by heart at the time and I messed up and felt :o: so I shut up. Never did it again since. LOL I sometimes say the punchlines to the old corny Jungle Cruise jokes to myself before the skipper says them. One time I actu...

Re: Thank you captain Health Nut

Nope. In fact, that's completely the opposite of the point the OP was trying to make. He was in a smoking section when the SG began her little passive-aggressive shtick. Wow... really? That seems wrong. So let's break it down at the MK, shall we? ... TOTAL IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM Smoking Sections: 10 ...

Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland ... or MK, AK, EC, ST ... or Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland, Fantasia Gardens, Disney Quest ... (but then again, I'm not a guest) what about Disney's California Adventure, Disney Studios Paris, Tok...

Re: That was it??

i bet a disney dollar that about 30% of the guests who come to WDW could not tell you the names of the four Disney parks, and another 10% didn't even know that there were four Disney parks.
