Correct. Also, it is difficult to identify who belongs to which voice on an audio recording. Difficult, too, to identify when and where the audio exchange too place.chartle wrote:The video recording you probably could get away with, but audio recording is a major no no. Re: Fast Pass Pet Peeve: fast pass mystery
Anyway, my point is that late-returning FPs don't make a statistically significant difference in the wait times for the other time windows, which is why Disney continues to allow them. If that ever changes, they can always start enforcing the end time. Well said! :) I know when I worked attractions...

Re: Fast Pass Pet Peeve
I doubt he had any intention of selling the FPs. He probably was just the FastPass Volunteer for a large tour group. I think it might be "Brazilian Tour Group" season? We do that within our own family, send someone with all the park tickets to the FP machine while the rest of the group doe...

Re: Fast Pass Pet Peeve
I hope you have a funny comeback for that one. Something like, "I'm so good looking, I don't blame you." Sheesh, I don't know how you can keep your mouth shut with some of the really stupid guests.5th Dimension wrote:"I'm going to stare at you until we can go in"

Re: Fast Pass Pet Peeve
Right, delsdad, that is often the case. I think a lot of us use the planning sites that tell us which times of the day each ride is busiest. I try to use a combination of FPs and doing attractions at their slow times so that I never wait more than 10 minutes in any line. Except for some queues that ...

Re: Fast Pass Pet Peeve
If Disney saw it as a problem they would change their policy. I've never once been turned away from the FP line for a "late" FP at Disneyland or WDW. I've also never seen a FP backed up due to those using late FPs. The guest who offered you the five valid FPs was just trying to spread a li...

Re: OMG, Stop That!
Speaking of taking a leak, I was on the CM shuttle going into our Harbor Pointe checkpoint. When we turned into the entrance (with the big resort welcoming sign), we saw a guy looking at one of the monorail columns. We didn't think anything of it until one CM said very loudly "OMG, is that guy...

Re: You Are In A Disney Park, Learn Your Disney Characters.
Working Guest Service on the WOD floor when a Guest comes up to me and asks about "Scritch" plush and I said "Oh, you mean STITCH. I'll show you.." and they're like "No, no! SCRITCH!" and I finally asked "OK, who's Scritch?" "He's a chipmunk." ... &...

Re: Your Pet Peeves
My guess would be the supporting structure was engineered to support a vertical load with some lateral resistance. From watching the video, there doesn't appear to be any triangulation support pieces where the poles meet the roof which indicates all lateral loads were to be done by the pole to roof...

Re: Just wondering what you think.
I have a friend who doesn't want to take any of the park tours because she wants to "maintain the magic." Me, my goal is to take every tour offered at both the DLR and WDW because I love to learn the hows and whys of things. I took the Backstage Magic tour at WDW in April and could have st...
