Re: Mistaken guest genders. . .

I was watching a parade once and mentioned to the woman next to me that I once had long curly hair just like her daughter. She replied that he was her nephew :o: She then said it happens all the time and she told her brother to cut the kid's hair. He was about 4 or 5. For 8 years my driver's license...

Re: Ghosts

I have heard the stories about Star Trader stockroom. Worked there several times a few years ago. Never did see "Helter Skelter". One time I was alone on the top floor after park closing getting some hats to restock when someone turned out the lights (the light switch was downstairs). Scar...

Re: Misunderstanding the Photo Process

I can sure relate to your frustration. Worked the pin/hat cart on Main Street where golden ears are sold. I lost count of the guests who asked if I put the names on the hats there. I felt like saying, "Do you see a sewing machine here???" I would love to say sure I put names on the hats, w...

Re: I hate when guests ask....

Wow, you attraction cm's have it rough! I can be standing behind a register and a guest will ask if I'm open. No, I'm really on break and have no better place to go  Guests are constanly asking the price of items. Other than cameras and film, everything is tagged. Get your head out of your...

Re: Grabby Guests / Autograph books

Lucky me, I got to spend 8 hours today at the Main Street Pin Cart where the big seller by far was our favorite autograph books! If one more guest waved a book in my face asking how much, I was going to #$&%@&# and then #@%&*$!. When a guest buys a book I always ask if they have a pen be...

Re: Jurassic Park...ohhh....such a DISNEY attraction.....

I've had guests say they have spent the day looking for Daffy Duck. Tweety Bird, or Sylvester merchandise. Imagine their surprise when I inform them these characters are NOT Disney! The kicker though was when a guest asked when the character Shrek would be coming out to sign autographs. I...

Re: 50th Name Tags

Actually, the original name tags didn't have names, but the cm's employee number. Wouldn't want to be known by an 8 digit number, but then again, it would be harder for a guest to remember a bunch of numbers when they had a complaint about you!!! :D:

Re: Inspired by a thread on another board....

The goths are always entertaining, especially Bat Day in Sept. I was helping a woman one time who was wearing a top where the top part was netting. She raised her arm and a nipple popped out through the netting and stayed there! I took her money and could hardly keep a straight face. I didn't know w...

50th Name Tags

A lot of guests have asked about the year on our new name tags. The worst happened a couple of days ago when a woman asked and when I replied that's the year I was hired, she replied, " I thought you looked awfully old to have graduated in 1999". Thanks lady! Any other stories???

Re: Grabby Guests / Autograph books

A few months ago I observed Cruella in the front of the second level of the double decker bus. In her sarcastic voice she was moaning about having to take the bus, they took her license away because she tried to hit Pluto. Another time she was interacting with guests when a couple walked by with a G...
