I actually was never trained on BTM, not yet anyways, I was trained on West Side FastPass, so I worked the greeter, merge, and FP distribution positions of the rotation at BTM, as well as the other FP attractions on the west side of the park. My attractions as of right now are Star Tours, Astro Orbi...

or the wonderful pointing with two fingers trick, I don't think I'll ever stop doing that, even off duty, or for some sick perverted reason, I saw an exit that had backed up on to the 57 freeway, and said to my roommate (another CM), to look how bad the exit was cascading, which, in Space Mountain t...

wow, now I know how Pirates pulls boats. At Small World, it's more the Cast Member's fault, because we stand right next to the flume and have a manual flume switch we have to pull, and we don't tag the boats, it's just pull whatever boat is empty and move the flume switch back to the ride position a...

I always get asked questions about the popcorn cart next to the NASA exhibit in Tomorrowland, while I'm in guarding the moonrock (I don't know which cart it is, lol, just that it's by the exhibit), and I have to turn them to the actual cart and tell them to ask the CM there.

my favorite was the kids that didn't really need to be checked, yet their parents pushed them into the sign at Big Thunder, and I'd be helping another guest, and without even looking, I'd hear the thud of the child's head against the sign, and turn to the parents and go "yep, he's tall enough&q...

How long is the wait?

One of the most common questions you get in attractions is "How long is the wait?" Well, just the other day, I was standing at the greeter position of "it's a small world" when a guest walks up to the attraction, when there literally was no guests in line, turns to me, and asks, ...

Re: Subtle Payback

he'd be waving them in and saying "F*** you, f*** you very much" and we assume they thought he was saying "thank you, thank you very much," as they smiled, waved and nodded at him. haha, I know of a former Rocket Rods cast member who liked to do something similar. He'd walk up t...

haha, sounds like at Small World, when it's raining. "My seat is wet!" They don't take kindly to being reminded that it is raining and the longer they stand and complain about it, the wetter their seats are going to get.
