Re: New American Adventure Costumes

I do encourage you to register your view with Guest Relations or Disney Corporate. Yeahhhhh... Guest Relations can't do anything about this. They have no venue for passing along complaints about costumes or other corporate related issues. They can take the complaint for the guest's peace of mind, b...

Re: I'm sorry, sir, but your kid is too short to ride...

Oh, this is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. While I was still at Safaris, I was on light duty for about a month (safari wrist anyone?) and got stuck in Dinoland for the duration. Props to anyone who works in Dinoland, because I wanted to kill myself every day that I was there...

Re: I'm afraid! LOL (Grad night)

Generally they are much better behaved at Grad Night than at No Joy. If someone screws up badly it can get the school banned for one or more years. And that means they get everyone at the school pissed at them. In my experience the misbehavior factor is about the same for both. I think on Grad Nite...

Re: Did The Definition of the Word "Parent" Change?

If you're talking about the chains I think you're talking about, there are magnets in the center of each one, holding the two halves together, presumably to prevent people from sitting/swinging on them. I don't remember seeing them last year, but I think they are AWESOME! I wish they'd install thos...

Re: Stupid Transfer Tricks

Easy fix. Stay away from the Unions. Don't give them your hard earned money, and everyone will be better off. They are a prime example of SCMT.

Re: Wearing IDs on stage and off the clock

Better yet are CMs who think their ID acts as an instant Fastpass. I have no problem hooking up a fellow CM, but please be discreet about it. Again, you're off the clock. Blend in, have fun, and TAKE YOUR ID OFF! This is my personal favorite. Especially the week of Christmas when I'm the bouncer fo...

Re: Where are the Stupid Guest Tricks?

Have all the guests become perfect? It seems like it has been forever since we SGT wanna be's have heard any good examples of, well, SGTing. You folks must have some recent experiences that you would like to share. I'd have to say it's because this site has been over-run by Guests. Back in the day ...

Re: Question about DL cast member name tags...

Disneyland has discontinued the guest nametags. The engraving machines were old and hard to use, and difficult to train new people to use. Many blanks were ruined, more than were actually successfully engraved. I have all the varieties that have been available on display in my Museum, if you wanted...

Re: Why bring a stroller?

There was a big "fight" in the World of Disney as a family was walking around, shopping and their child got out of the stroller for a minute. A Hispanic family then approached the stroller, plopped their own child into it and walked off. When the first family saw this, the second family d...
