We tell you the Number 1 place to Number 2!

WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL — Ever since the ‘Happiest Potties on Earth’ website was flushed off the server, there hasn’t been anywhere you could go to tell you where to … well, go. Luckily for you, dear reader, Uncle Walt’s Insider is here for you. We feel that it is our duty [Ed.: <snort> He said ‘duty’!] to put together our rankings of the best and worst restrooms at Walt Disney World.

Before we get into the rankings, a little note about our research methods. We can assure you that every restroom listed has been personally tested by Uncle Walt’s Insider authors and editors. However, since Harriet is currently on sabbatical searching for her lost shaker of salt, we have only ranked men’s restrooms. Sorry, ladies.

[Note: Uncle Walt’s would like to apologize for the initially-published version of this article which listed “Any available pond, river, fountain or other water feature” as an “Honorable Mention” for each of the four parks. This was inserted by an unnamed staffer (it was Marty) without the author’s knowledge or consent. Those references have been removed, at least until we can finish testing those facilities.]

Magic Kingdom

Best: “Tangled” restrooms between Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

It’s no coincidence that the newest restrooms in the Kingdom are also some of the nicest. Spacious and roomy, with good locks on the stalls. Even though Rapunzel doesn’t get a castle, she’s got a great throne room.

Worst: Adventureland/Frontierland breezeway.

Also known as the “Lose your party” restrooms, because half the time, you turn the wrong way coming out of the restroom and end up in a completely different land than your party. Also tends to be crowded. And then there’s the lizard problem …

E.P.C.O.T. Centre

Best: Spaceship Earth – East (Guest Relations) side. This restroom is recently refurbished, and usually tends to not be very busy. A good last stop as you exit the park. Plus, there are six soap dispensers for only four sinks, so you almost never have to worry about running out of soap.

Worst: Electric Umbrella. This is a tiny little restroom, and it’s poorly laid out. You can barely open the door without hitting someone. Watch out for spray! Also, it can be difficult to even find this restroom, as it’s located down a dark and unlabeled hallway.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Best: Our vote for the all time best restroom in this park sadly doesn’t exist anymore. That would have been the restroom outside the entrance to Lights! Motors! Action! Noisy Car Stunt Show! It was spacious, and almost never crowded. But, since LMA and it’s restrooms are gone now, we’ll go with the PizzeRizzo restroom as our choice. Pretty decently sized, and with an inconvenient location, it’s almost never busy.

Worst: Sunset Blvd – either the one halfway down the street or the one near Tower of Terror, take your pick. Both are too small for the volume that they get, and usually have a line. The “halfway down the street” restroom door is also right next to a cast member backstage gate, so you’ll often have cast excusing their way through the line to get off stage.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Best: Festival of the Lion King. These restrooms are hidden back, further than the entrance to the queue, and are a good size, and usually clean. Plus they’re right near the walkway to Pandora.

Worst: Asia walkway (pretty close to Expedition Everest: Legend of the Broken Animatronic). Always crowded, and seem to not be cleaned quite as frequently as they should.
